Corey and Peter Stone took the electrical company their father started in the 1990s and turned it into a province-wide heat pump and electrical contractor. We pull every permit ourselves. We travel anywhere on the island.
Our Story
Corey and Peter Stone's father started an electrical company in Corner Brook in the 1990s. Peter began working with him out of school as a Code 1 electrician. The shop grew up doing residential and commercial electrical work across western Newfoundland — wiring homes, pulling permits, doing service changes, working with contractors.
A few years ago, Corey and Peter rebranded as Pro Electrical & HVAC and turned the focus toward heat pumps and oil-to-electric conversions. Newfoundland Power's TakeCharge rebate program had just opened up serious money for homeowners ready to get off oil heat — up to $22,000 in rebates — and the demand for full-service contractors who could handle the whole project (heat pump install, panel upgrade, oil tank removal, paperwork) was real.
Today the team is nine people — two owners, five installers and technicians, an office administrator, and a project consultant. We've completed 300+ projects across the province. We pull every permit, we travel anywhere on the island, and we stand behind our installs with 10 to 12 year warranties.

Corey Stone
Owner & General Manager

Corey grew up in his father's electrical shop in Corner Brook, watching the trade up close before bringing his own experience back to lead Pro Electrical. He's worked across multiple sectors including the automotive industry, and now drives the company's expansion into HVAC and oil-to-heat-pump conversions across Newfoundland.
Peter Stone
Owner & Lead Electrician
Code 1 Electrician — second generation
Peter is Corey's brother and the company's lead electrician — a Code 1 licensed tradesman who pulls every permit and signs off on every install. He started working alongside their father in the original shop and brings decades of hands-on Newfoundland electrical experience to every job.
Joshua Watson

Josh is a heat pump and electrical installer on the Pro Electrical crew, working on residential installs and service calls across western and central Newfoundland.
